The style of the presentation was really interesting, how they included other people for commenting in video, which made the video to be somewhat realistic...I like the humor put into the video, aswel as the informationl.

I really enjoyed this video and the style the information was presented. I was able to learn a lot of things and felt like I wanted to learn more about him!I loved how the way you included other people, such as Mr. Wilson, Mrs. Branson in your interview. It was really shocking how Bush was actually raising tax to give money to the drug addicts, cheats, etc. Like Mrs. Branson stated I think it was really wrong!!!
The sound quality was overly good and the information was easy to understand!!
This video had a nice flow, and the information was sorted out very neatly. I really liked how interviews of the citizens were included in this video. The lines for the interviews were very good. It didn't state many facts, but I thought the lines illustrated the accuracy of the understanding people have towards politics. That made this video very realistic. It was a great video.

I thought this video was really smart because they had included teachers like Ms. Branson and Mr. Wilson to comment on Bush during his presidency. I think this video is quite entertaining as well. Good job on everything.
It was interesting how they took like a news cast. The interviews to some teachers and the students were unique. The information was easy to understand too. I thought it was a very creative and well thought video.

ReplyDeleteI, like many other people have pointed out, enjoyed how you news-casted your information. The interview between Jimmy and Heidi was really awesome! I mean, Heidi being from the domestic policy council obviously trying to avoid answering Jimmy’s questions. I thought that there was pretty good acting going on there. But HEIDI having nothing to say? Oh please!
Your video is of coarse very informative but also enjoyable to the same degree. First off, Jimmy had mentioned interviews that would be of REAL American people .

I like how you incorporated the interviews of the teachers. It was nice to have American people (Ha Rang?) telling us what they were actually going through during Bush's presidency.

ReplyDeleteThe video really looks like a news. I can see that the group exerted a lot of effort on this project. I like the interviews, and how the group included other people in their video. It was good to get opinions from others but, Jimmy lied to us! At 6:03, Jimmy said something like, "The thoughts of real American people" and as far as I know, Ha Rang is not American. It was sad that one of your newscasters died at the war. Overall, I think the group did a great job! I was very entertained watching it.

I liked how there were many interviews about their opinions toward Bush's presidency. I also liked the conversation between Jimmy, and Heidi who is from the domestic policy council and trying not to answer the questions. The part where Brian was shot and killed during the report was really sad, poor Brian, but it was fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteSome part of the report was chopped off, but other than that, the quality was fine, and the concept was fun to watch.
The newsroom setting was an interesting backdrop to present H.W.'s time in office. I learned some new facts from this video, like how the situation of the poor worsened after Bush's shift from the right occurred. Very informative and engaging.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the green screen in the back ground was not utilized to its fullest, the video was fairly entertaining. Although at times, the sound from the back became a minor irritation.
ReplyDeleteI especially found the segment about the , "Real Americans" an admirable aspect since they presented several different views on the tax raise rather than a generalized one.

The video's NEWS-ZERO style complete with interviews & reports was really eyecatching and entertaining to watch. Jimmy's slightly sarcastic newscaster presenter character, Heidi's double role between the typical politician and the efficient reporter, and Brian's life-risking reporter-character were all well thought off and the 'news' was interesting to watch!

ReplyDeleteThe video is entertaining because so many people were casted in the news. I have never even thought about casting teachers when I was taking my group video! Anyway, I can tell this group really tried to imply things, for example, When the announcer was having an interview with the domestic policy council member, she tried to dodge the questions. This emphasizes the fact that people were angry at Bush raising taxes and all.

I liked when Mr. Wilson and Ms.Branson was also acting on this video. Before I see the video about Bush, I didn't have so much idea about Bush. From this video, I could clearly understand how Bush was like, and what he did during his presidency.

ReplyDeleteVery carefully planned out. I love the plot of the video and how all the answers to the questions were given while the news setting story was going on. Also involvement of the teachers brought my interest and make the video easier to understand. I also loved the props used in the video, especially the helmet Brian was wearing.

I love the 'real' interaction with 'normal people' or rather our teachers in this. It made it seem much more reliable for honest information. The taxes was a good point that you guys emphasized on and I understand and realize peoples' opinion on much better now. Good information, good presentation, good job. Haha I agree with Seiya about Brian...

ReplyDeleteI could see that this presentation was well-planned. The conversation/acting between Jimmy and Heidi was very interesting and at the same time informative. I'm guessing that the green background was meant to be used for green-screen? So if there is anything that could be improved, I think it would be the visual appeal to the audience.

It was very long video. And interesting fact was this group interviewed Mr.Willson and Mrs.Bransn's, which is very expert idea. And Jimmy's smooth flowing was very good, and also Brian's death was one of the interesting part. I enjoyed this video.

ReplyDeleteNice video i like the idea that was used. They presented really good material with many details about president Bush I. It was interesting how they did interview with teachers. Helmet that was used by Bryan was really nice idea.
I loved the part where it switched to Brian who is a reporter. He sounded like he had a fever but that was the funny part. I also like the part where they interviewed teacher and students. I think they interviewed quite alot of people. the information in it was understandable.

ReplyDeleteThe props and the costumes were well suited to the presentation. The whole presentation based on a news report was very entertaining and made me laugh. I enjoyed the acting of all the performers, (very well done) and the idea of interviewing many individuals was a good one. The presentation is very memorable and so the info about Bush would stay in my mind for a long time. The oil price shock, rise in poverty, and the info about how so many Americans were angered by Bush raising taxes were clearly shown. It was a very creative presentation.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great idea to involve other people in your video. It gave a first hand account on what US citizens thought about Bush raising taxes. It was also great that you included an interview, where Heidi was trying to avoid all of the "inconvenient questions". This gave a good idea of what sort of government Bush had.
ReplyDeleteThe tension between Jimmy and Heidi during the interview is really interesting. It certainly gives the audience the message that Bush had some trouble among the people. The comments that people gave about Bush raised tax made a really strong statement about people’s feeling towards Bush’s action. Together with Heidi’s character, it was very clear to the audience that Bush tend to contradict himself and he is not a wise decision maker.

I loved this video!! Your interviews of "real Americans" was, of course realistic and informative, but also entertaining and enjoyable to watch! Heidi's avoidance of Jimmy's questions was a great representation of the domestic policy council. Very thorough, great flow, and best of all--very entertaining. :D Amazing video!
I could tell that the group exerted a lot of effort on this project. I like the interviews and the social milieu presented through them. Though this video followed a form of a new report, huge amount of information was discussed and presented. Well Done!!
