The presentation on the Vietnam war was easy to understand. There were many pictures which were good since it was not just words that I saw on the screen. The pictures entertained us and gave us a more clearer image of what they were talking about. I thought that the presentation itself could be more smooth since we could see that each time the slide changed they had to click on the screen. It was quite easy to hear and I really thought that the idea of presenting with power point was another interesting idea since the other groups did not do this.

I felt like some of the information could have been more deeper like the part about how political conditions lead to the vietnam war. The thing that I felt that was really good was that there were not long sentences on the video, but instead short sentences that explained and answered the questions. When I was watching my video I didnt understand what I was talking about and I did not have any thing to do but to rewind it and hear it again and again. But in this case you can listen and at the same time get the main information by reading and even though you could not hear some parts you can read. I felt like this was really good.

I also really liked how you put a graph in the presentation. This was visually easy to see and it also gave us a better view of how the economy rose in Vietnam due to the help of the Free market economy. Another graph also showed us how the Vietnam economy decreased from 1973.

  3. The Video was really interesting and had a lot of information which I did not know until I saw this. I felt that the audio was not clear, and was not easy to follow along . Anyways, I liked how they include visuals and slides with notes on them. I actually thought that it would be nice, and might be smoother if they had converted their power point slides into a pdf file( or something similar) so that they could insert them directly into imovie(or some sort of film making/editting softwares) since the transitions did not seem to be easy for what they did in the video.

  4. I like how this group used a powerpoint presentation in their video. It was easy for me to follow along. The pictures used made it easier to get the idea of your topic. However, the video wasn't very smooth and I think that the group should've rehearsed a little bit more because there were parts that had long pauses which makes me think that there was a lack of preparation. I also talked a little bit about the Vietnam War in my group's presentation, but this video surely added to my knowledge about the event.

  5. The use of powerpoint presentation, I think, was a really good idea. The words, audio, graphs, and pictures were all balanced out, and were used so that it would make the presentation better. I like how you guys also talked, and not only show the words or pictures, because if I could see what you're saying, it's easier for me to understand. I did not know that the "make love, not war" quote came from during this time period. I thought that was very interesting. And though I knew somethings about the war, this video taught me a lot more about it in detail.

I think this vdeo is quite interesting because you guys put the powerpoint as the video. It's really different from other groups, but the information about Vietnam is knowledgable.

  7. I liked how the group used powerpoint as their video presentation. However, it was hard to hear what you guys were saying and it was not that smooth. I think the people should have been in the film, and not only their voices. Still, there were lots of pictures, few words and even a graph in the powerpoint. It was easy to understand because if there were lots of words and few pictures, it would have been boring and hard to understand. This presentation gave me more information about the Vietnam war.

  8. The video dissected what made the Vietnam War tick, from its origins as a conflict between communist North Vietnam and the Viet Cong against democratic South Vietnam and the reason why the United States stepped in to assist the south. The use of a powerpoint as the video's framework is questionable, however.

I like the use of texts and voice recording which helped me to lern the information. Vietam War is one of the topic which long and comlicated but by breaking into pieces like you guys did, it was easy to understand.

  10. I thought that it was very smart idea to take the video of the power point presentation. The video was very easy to watch, and since there was some wording in this video, it was better for me to understand about the Vietnam War.

The information in this video is clearly organised. This is also another very typical and formal presentation format without any jokes or plays but it was packed neatly wih plenty of good information. Because there was summurized main points all the time while they were presenting it, it could give me quicker and clearer information. And I was glad that I found the author's name Tim O' Brien in this Vietnam War presentation! 'The Things They Carried' written by him was beautifully articulated.

They included some key words in the presentation so it was easy to follow along and understand the informations. It had a lot of information but it was easy to understand. I enjoyed watching this video.

  16. The video was informative and it was quite creative to film powerpoint. The relevant graphics made the topic easier to understand. The voice of everyone could be herad clearly without difficulty although there were some other noises includeed. The video was great, although I hoped there were more actions involved and clearer conclusion.

  18. The presentation for this video was very unique. The powerpoint style presentation made it very clear and easy to understand the information that was being presented. I really understand more clearly how the Vietnam War came to be. Some parts were a tad hard to hear, but was no real problem. Good use of visuals in your presentation as well!

  20. The powerpoint/keynote style presentation made this video easy to understand. Having pictures and key ideas on the screen helped a lot. A little interruption with the sound in the back, but overall it was great!

  21. I thought it would have been better to have people in the video to make it more interesting, but I really liked the use of powerpoint because it made it easy to see the pictures and words. The video was very easy to understand, and it is sorted out neatly. Stating the questions really helped understanding the concepts of the Vietnam War. I learned a lot.

  22. It was interesting that they used only computer powerpoint-style film. But information was very good, I could know thing about Vietnam and Vietnam War, and i felt like Vietnam is very similar as Korea, because they both divided into Communism country and Republic Country.

  24. It was very easy to understand, and the use of powerpoint presentation was very helpful. However, I think the graphs were not explained well enough. It was not clear what the numbers meant, although I did understand the main concept. I also found a mistake in the "Air Vietnam" section. Is it supposed to be during 1937-1961 instead of 1961-1937? Or 1861-1937?
It is unfortunate because such small mistakes could lead to decrease in the credibility of the whole presentation.

  25. The way the video dissected the movie into distinct parts made the comprehension of the topic easier.
But, along with many other, there were some technical difficulties, difficulties which could have been avoided.
But nonetheless, my understanding of the war was brought to a whole new level thanks to this informative video.

  26. The background sound is too noisy which is probably the sound of playing pool. This is more like a presentation rather than a video. There was no editing and was just a video taken and uploaded. However, the information was good.

It was really interesting how they used pages as a background. They have enough text. They speech was clear and understandable. After this video I have a bit more specific details about Vietnam War.

  28. Using pool balls as bombs and voice sounds was a good idea. IT made th video more fun to watch. I leanred why vietnam war happened and why US fought in it.

  29. Using a powerpoint presentation made what the information that you were giving easier to follow. Also I thought your analysis gave good general information. Also, well done for dividing up the work among group members and making sure to answer the questions that your group was given. Good job.

  30. It was very interesting how you used a powerpoint to interperate the information in your presentation. This use made everything easy to understand. The pictures were helpful and audio was very clear. It's such a pity that the right-half of the video is cut!
Overall, really good job. You answered all the questions beautifully!

  31. The powerpoint style presentation is to the point and easy to understand. Since you didn't simply read off the information in the powerpoint, it was interesting to watch and the photos included were helpful to follow the information. The example of Bob Dylan's music as a trend really emphasized the fact that the war actually occured quite recently. Unique idea and great information packed video!

  32. The presentation was successful in presenting important information because of the use of the powerpoint. I really thought this video was unique because no other group used the powerpoint. the pictures were very clear and interesting and the information were all informative. I didn't know the immergance of movies such as Apocalypse now was due to the vietnam war. Good information.

  34. It is a very interesting how this video used power point to present there information. However, it will be more interesting if the video can have some people acting out some example, it might be more memorable for the audience and the information will be easier to understand. Also some video from that period will make an impression for the audience and it is easier for the audience to grasp the information.

This video had great organization because of the powerpoint style. However, the words were sometimes illegible, (at least on my computer) and the audio was somewhat too rough to interpret at times.
Overall though, the video was packed with interesting, well-organized facts, and the examples gave it a sense of how recent this all had happened. Great idea && awesome video! ;3

  36. To be honest, the Vietnam War was one war that I wasn't too familiar with. After watching this video I have a better view on this war, especially on the economic aspects and also on the role of the US in the Vietnam War. Your powerpoint-type presentation was very informative and well organized. Well done!

  37. The economic aspect together with the social aspect was neatly discussed in this video. The use of powerpoint enabled to produce an informative and well organized video. though discussing a difficult topic , the group covered the topic in a simple way and I was possible to understand Vietnam War well.
