ReplyDeleteThe video, I thought, was really entertaining. It was easy to understand and I liked the black and white clip they filmed with thier creative posters, and so as the fashion clip, explaining how hippis dressed like. The video has taught me about hippis and it was so fun to watch.
There seems like it has some technical problems in them, but the overall project it self was really awsome.

I really liked how you showed your information by acting and dressing up like hippies. I especially liked how you showed how people were protesting. I actually didnt know a lot of the Hippies but from this video I was able to learn more about it. I liked how you changed the background of some of the parts.
ReplyDeleteAt 6 minutes and 36 seconds I think the sound quality was bad or something went wrong, since I could not hear anything. But after a few seconds or so I was able to hear again.
This video is very informative. The group shared a lot of facts about the hippies and they were very interesting. I think it's cool and entertaining how the group used green screen. I can tell that the group put a lot of effort into the project by making posters, having pictures, and dressing up as hippies. I also like how the group added a song in the end.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed watching this video. I thought it was really creative how you guys dressed yourselves up as hippies, and also explained how they were dressed. Also the video clips you made of their protests were really good too, it added to the information. I think it was a good idea to put the song in at the end. It enhanced the whole video, and wrapped it up nicely.

I had no idea how the hippies had impact on economically, socially, and politically. And how hippies took action like protests. Also how you guys made the video more realistic by using extras from junior high. Good job!
The amount of depth that was put into presenting the counterculture movement was excellent. I found that the things that arose from the hippie culture's activities, such as free love leading to the creation of the birth control pills, to be very interesting. Excellent information overall.

ReplyDeleteI liked how you guys used the green screen and put some photos that are related to the counterculture movement and hippies. If it was only like holding a photo of those hippies, it would have been boring but since it was the background, it was more fun to watch. Also, using the junior highs as the extra for the sit-ins. It was nice how you guys dressed up as hippies and represent them in the presentation. The information was easy to understand but maybe it would have been better if you had words written in the video so that it would be easier to understand what you guys were explaining.

ReplyDeleteVery creative and artistic. After I took my group's video which is about Lyndon Bains Johnson, I happened to be interested in hippies because hippies are related to LBJ in social aspects. So apparently I enjoyed this video. But I was sad that I couldn't see the colorful peace sign that this group made because it was took by black and white clip. I think hippie outfits and their phylosophy is ausome.
I liked the green back. I also liked the part where seiya introduced the hippies fashion. The protesting scene which they showed with the green back was creative and interesting. The information was easy to understand. The end roll with the music rounded up the video really well. In overall, i really enjoyed this video.

Hahaha, Seiya your head.... It still makes me laugh, I saw it while you guys were editing, and yet I cant watch it with a serious face... I loved the video, its a video i would like to watch again. Just because it is really random YET, super educational. Kudos for that Hakima, Seiya and Malyanah!! Hippis rules.

I loved the clips with the junior high protest and also the protest outside, it made the video very fun to watch. There seemed to be some technical difficulties however the information was straightforward and clear for the most part. I learned more about the impacts of the Hippies, before, tie-dye was the only thing that came to mind when I thought of Hippies, now I know a lot more. Thanks.

I liked the part when they present their costume, with showing an example of a girl who's wearing it. While I was watching this video, I suddenly realized that some Japanese wear Hippies style. It was very interesting.

ReplyDeleteApart from the jealousy I feel for them for having such an awesome topic, this was a fairly entertaining video. They utilized props(Rainbow T shirts/ Rally Signs) in a hilarious way. They also covered all aspects of the topics required fully.
Perhaps they could have put a bit more effort into the technical side of the video including the audio and film work( Back ground).
Great use of the green screen/backgrounds & props! I've been fascinated about Hippies and their culture from when I was about 8. However, I never really took interest in learning about the political aspects concerning the topic, therefore it was very interesting to learn about that, especially about how Hippies were influenced by Kennedy and Martin Luther. It was a shame that part of Malyanah's presentation was cut off, but still, a great video!

I like this video, you all spoke clearly and that made it easy to understand. I also like how you explained the dress code of the hippies. It was a shame that some parts of the audio were either too quiet or not even there. This must have been a blast to film, (wish I could have had this topic) I like the use of the green screen, great job! oh and by the way, I love that one girl who bit the protest poster!!!

ReplyDeleteIts really creative movie how they involved other students to participate to film it. They also tried to dont use paper on the camera. Using clothing different backgrounds with a lot of different pictures made this topic easy to understand. I learned by this presentation new facts about hippies life in the US.
Although they didn't use all the green screens, they used some and that was good. I like the part when Seiya's head comes out. The green part of Hakima's tye-dye shirt changing and getting effects was also interesting. It was a fairly good information that told me some new things about hippies.

I had practically no idea about who and what hippies were except the characteristic way they dress and how they talk. But due to this video, I think I understand them better~

I really like the rainbow shirt you guys wore! You guys really put in an extra effort in props and how to present your material. The demonstration scene surprised me because it looked so real! Any very funny! the information was very interesting and the editing was well done. Didn't know rock and roll had connections with hippies. The pictures in the background really made the presentation entertaining. Nice video.
ReplyDeleteInteresting topic and I really do learn a lot about hippies. I often heard the term hippies but the reason for there culture was something that I didn’t have the chance to know. I like the scene with all the students on the hallway, the scene look realistic. Some use of green screen was nice but there are some without the green screen which got me kind of wondering.

Wow, I had no idea that hippies had actually affected our history this much! (No offense to the hippies, but I thought they just sat around and hugged trees or something.) Although there are some technical issues, this video is well-organized, with help from visuals such as props (tie-dye shirts, signs, etc.) and extras (junior high) to support the topics. It was very entertaining and deeply educational. Great presentation!
Excellent usage of the green screen, it was well done! Also, the costumes were very well selected and clearly portrayed what kind of people the hippies were to those who didn't have any idea. It was nice that you included other people to make the scenes more realistic. It was a pity that one section of Malyanah's presentation was on mute but other than that it the video was well put together.
