ReplyDeleteThis group had very a good integration of puppets (?), pictures, and maps. Also, the era of George W Bush is something I am familiar with, so it was easy for me to familiarize with. I found the information about tubercluosis and aids to be very interesting. Everyone's enunciation was very clear, and the word choices were very easy to understand. They also had good use of sound effects.

I really enjoyed watching this video. The use of puppets,pictures, and sound effects were very creative. The sound effects on the back were really nice and voice quality was easy to hear and understand. I really liked how you presented your information with the puppets which made it more easier to understand.
One of the things I knew about Bush was the one about Iraq and how he sent American forces until the region was stabilize. Since I usually heard a lot about Iraq the information about aids, and HIV was something new. The patriot act was also an interesting piece of information that I found. The comic pictures such as the one showing us about the patriot act gave me a bigger understanding of what was happening.
Watching this video I could really tell that this group took a lot of time and effort making the puppets and the back ground pictures. I really enjoyed watching it and was able to gain a lot of new and important information on Bush.

Puppets.....A risky, anomalous strategy in portraying the bush administration, but a bet well taken. This video while being extremely informative was also an array of entertaining surprises; I was bewildered. Personally, what surprised me the most is that the video made me realize that the mass anti-bush propaganda still present today had actually snuck up behind my back and bitten me without me noticing. I was so overwhelmed and preoccupied with the resentment towards Bush that I failed to recognize the accomplishments he achieved during his administration. So thank you.

ReplyDeleteI think it was a very unique idea to use puppets. However, at times it made it a bit hard to understand. I think it would have been better to use more text in the video, just to make the information clear. As a video, it had a good flow and conclusion and I liked the sound effects used in it. I thought that the choices of photos and graphics were very good. Nice video!

I thought the video is really interesting with using the puppets as the person. It was really creative and very informative. I understands a lot and it is really entertaining as well. Good Job.
I thought using the puppets were really unique and interesting. The information was easy to understand and they had many pictures which were connected to the information and those pictures made it easier to understand the information too. I already knew things about bush but this video gave me a clearer understanding of bush's presidency.

Utilizing puppets for your presentation really displays how well-prepared and well-informed you guys were. Your video was highly informative but also pleasing to the eye because of the comical puppets.
In addition, voice recording was done in good quality and I heard every word that was said.
I think you adressed the good and bad of Bush very well and displayed ample knowledge of the social milieu during his presidency. I liked how balanced your presentation was with broad and detailed information distributed equally throughout the whole video.
I think I understand more of Bush’s presidency and I have your easy-to-understand video to thank!

I thought I knew quite a lot about George W. Bush's presidency, but after watching this presentation I gained more knowledge about his presidency.

The background and the props for this video was very artistic, which helped me to understand very easily. The voice quality very easy to hear. There were lots of informations, which were very easy to understand.
I think this video was really original and was really creative. I liked the idea of making George W Bush and others like a puppet. This video was really entertaining. Also, this video taught me lots of facts about George W Bush. Although I knew about some facts about him, there was some information that I didn't know. And, this video taught me those informations.

The use of pictures, puppets, and the maps made this video very easy ton understand the context of the topic. I could see the effort in making these little props. What helped me the most was the Iraq War topic because the topic is major issue during the presidency of Bush.

The style of this video is quite different from the others, and I enjoyed watching it. All the puppets resembled their original figures, and the backgrounds & props were very detailed, making it easier to understand, and pleasant to watch. I think that Bush is one of the figures that is hard to explain without leaning to a certain point of view, but I think you managed to fairly express Bush's character without doing so.

ReplyDeleteI found the idea to use puppets was creative, fun and the movie was full of information and pictures. Although I have already known a little bit more about Bush than other presedent in the U.S., since 911 terror that happened during his presedency drew attention from people all around the world, it gave me fuller understanding of his presedency. It would have been diffiult for this group to explain about his second presideny, but they did a great job.
Haha! Wow this is amazing. So creative yet so fun. Its a very well put video, i loved the bushes head right from the first gave me laughs. This video gave me a tad different view of his presidency, i though he was just an idiot... but i guess he did something. haha.

I've been thought all he did was lead America into Iraq War and those things, but one interesting was 'no child left behind act'. it was for those students who has bad grade, and they can move their school under parent's agreement, if their grade is bad. But it's failing right now because government can't pay enough money to school to enforce this act.

ReplyDeleteGreat use of props and audio. The puppets made from paper and pencils were creative and very cute. The video was filled with amazing information all thoroughly described and creatively executed. The pictures and audio significantly made the explanation of Bush’s presidency easy to understand. I especially enjoyed the social trends you analyzed, on the increase in technology (i tunes and cars). The secure Fence act was an interesting fact about immigration I didn’t know. Great editing, use of eye catching pictures and entertaining audio! Never heard before facts were incorporated throughout the presentation, and I have to say that this presentation was substantially and extensively researched and planned. Super job!

Love the ending of this video. The idea of using the puppets is really innovative and it certainly gives the video a little more humor in it. However, it appears to me that there are too many picture instead of the puppet show. It will be nice if some of the scene can be done by the puppet show instead of just pictures. The video indicate several interesting information about Bush that I never know about such as the AIDS and HIV bill.
ReplyDeleteOn the more technical phase, the narration is a little speedy at some part which might make the audience miss some important information. However, I love the sound effects that are putted at the background. the timing that the effects comes in is so realistic and effective. Over all, I really enjoy this video.
The puppets were funny to watch and made the video more interesting. There was lots of interesting information about Bush and what he did when he was president and what happened to stuff when he did.
ReplyDeleteThanks to your video, I was able to understand just a little bit about what might have been going through George W. Bush's head. The sequence of events from 9/11, to the war in Iraq, to the execution of Saddam Hussein was explained very clearly and in a very creative way. Nice puppets.

Wow wow wow wow WOW. GREAT puppets and sound effects, and audio is very clear and easy to hear. You information is presented in a clear, well-organized, yet entertaining way. Like Jonah said, I never realized how biased I was about Bush...so he DID actually do some good things! O.O
