ReplyDeleteThe video was really interesting, the information used are very easy to understand, and are clear. The video taught me how Jimmy carter's presidency was like, which I actually did not know much about. I liked how they included not only the "fact" facts, but some interviews of which talks about how the common people at the time would have thought about Jimmy Carter's actions.

From the video of Jimmy Carter I was able to gain a lot of new and interesting information on the economic, social, and political aspects during his presidency. The way the information was presented was really smooth and nice and I really liked the “bus scene.” Rather than just blabbering the information about Jimmy Carter it was interesting to watch the video and at the same time I was able to learn more about him. I sometimes had hard listening to what they were saying but most of the time it was okay.
I liked how you included an interview of Mr. Kim and I thought it was nice to know how the people during Jimmy Carter`s presidency felt like. At the same time it was good how the interview was after there was some information about Jimmy Carter the cold war and the vietnam war. Due to this I was able to get a clearer concept on what Mr. Kim was talking about. One of the things that I had a different view on was how people might have felt towards communism. Mr. Kim stated how people were frustrated on communism and how the spies might be in their country. From my perspective ( I dont know if its right) I thought that people were not exactly frustrated but more fearful.They may have been somewhat frustrated but I felt like the idea of communism existing in their own country would create fear in people.
I really enjoyed this video. The information was clearly and smoothly presented. Most of all I was really happy I was able to learn more about Jimmy Carter and his presidency while having fun!!
I thought this video was really interesting and very informative. I like how they did like a news where Rina was the announcer of a broadcast TV. It is very interesting to watch. Good job.

ReplyDeleteThe informations were easy to understand. I didn't know much about Jimmy Carter so this video taught me a lot obout him. I liked the interviews, especially when rina acted as a student when bus was out of gasoline. Those interviews gave me a better understanding about the information they are talking about. I really enjoyed watching this video.

ReplyDeleteI felt like there was a satisfying amount of information that supported each claim about Jimmy Carter in the form of not only news casting, but also through interviews.

I liked how in one scene, the video was taken in a different setting which was outside by the busses. I thought that that idea was very efficient because in addition to making everyone laugh, it was also informative of the economical situation during Carter’s presidency.
Although technical elaborations may seem dimmer compared to those of other groups, I think this simplicity was very good because the presentation itself was easy to understand and the general flow of information was always consistant and on-topic.

To be honest, I had never heard of Jimmy Carter's name until I watched the video. Now, thanks to the video, at least I have some ideas about Jimmy Carter and his presidency. The video was informative especially when it talked about the Cold War and the economic difficulties during Carter's presidency. As many other people I liked how the team put the interview scene and bus scene to help the audience to understand the video visually. I also could feel a lot of effort put into the choice of music which created mood of the film and its topic.

Also, there were some parts that i couldn't hear but, this video was very impressive. Since I didn't know who Jimmy Carter was, this video taught me lots of interesting facts about him, and I think you guys put lots of effort on research. This video had lots of original idea, like interviewing, and I really liked it.

Before I see this video, I didn't know so much about Jimmy Carter. After I saw this video, I could get a lots of interesting informations during Jimmy Carter's presidency. The skit in this video was very entertaining, which gave me easy understandings about Jimmy Carter.
Before watching this video, I did not have any knowledge about Jimmy Carter's presidency, but the video was easy to understand the concepts therefore I gained some knowledge about Jimmy Carter after watching this presentation.
ReplyDeleteThere were some parts where it was hard to understand what you were saying, but other than that, the word choice were fine and the video was quite smooth.
I liked the part where reporter Jay had an interview to Rina, a student which was trying to push the school bus. That part, I clearly understood what they wanted the audience to know.

The use of period songs was useful in setting the mood to present Carter. The section detailing public dissatisfaction with the Carter administration's handling of the communist threat was highly interesting.

ReplyDeleteThere was some audio problem, so I had to make the volume higher and lower many times. Apart from that, everything was well created. Strong flows, my favorite 'bus scene' and quick pace of this video made me to be informed about Jimmy Carter clearly. Additionally, I think it was nice that I could see so many different areas of my school- art table, music room, near the window and outdoors.
I really did not know so much about Jimmy Carter and by watching this presentation, it gave lots of informations about him. And i liked how they went out and had interviews and actually showed what was the problem. I liked this video.

I love the acting in this video. It was laughable yet informational at the same time. The presentation also seemed to include your own opinions as well as factual information at the same time making it stand out. The filming is a bit shaky making it a touch difficult to focus, but overall it was a good video!

Before this video I had no previous knowledge of Jimmy Carter. Because of the information and the skits, I understood more about the presidency, and it was good that they included there own opinions. Very good job!

I can tell that a lot of effort was put into research. However, there were parts of the video where I had difficulty understanding. Although the study questions are well-answered, I think it would have helped to have headlines or subtitles to help the audience be on track.

The News-style presentation was really well done, and the interviews included were humorous! Jimmy Carter may not be one of America's top presidents, but now I see how he tried to improve America, especially for the minorities. The clip about the economy using the example of gas prices was great; it was short but full of information about the status most citizens were in at that time.

I like how Jay put a fake beard on himself. I also like the bus running out of gasoline and Rina complaining about it. Also the part where Rina saids that her dad lost her job because of the intense tax rate. It was a clear good information telling movie.

ReplyDeleteI liked how this video included the hardcore facts, but also entertained us with some examples of what the economical, political and social situation in Carter's presidency was like through real acting. I especially liked the scene where the gas price was high that Rina couldn't ride the bus. Great editing with appropriate music and great acting! I enjoyed watching the presentation and it reminded me of the facts of the cold war and Jimmy Carter's presidency.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Carter was not the most famous president of United States of America so I didn’t know much about him but this video include several information that I didn’t know about. The little Bus skit gave the audience the idea that during Jimmy Carten’s presidency was hard. It must been challenge for Jimmy Carter to run a country that was under stress of economic break down.

This video may have been simple compared to other group videos, but the content was very well organized and nailed the topic. The use of songs from the period was a great way to give a feeling of how people of the era must have felt. Your examples, like Rina's father being fired represented the economical crisis of the time in a more realistic way, giving me a feel of the era in a way that no book could ever do. Great job guys!
This video contained many skits and also interviews that kept the audience entertained. I have heard of Jimmy Carter but I didn't know what exactly his political, economic, and social policies and influences were. Through this video I got a better understanding. Just one note on technological issues, it would've made it a better video if the camera hadn't shaken so much and the people were in the frame and if the volume of the speaker was kept constant at a loud volume. Otherwise the information was well organized and presented.

Jimmy Carter is not considered to be a good president and there is a fact that he worked meticulously to improve the lives of minorities. The information about the gas price showed the economic problem at that time. WEll DONE !!!
