This really sounded like a news cast, and i thought that was really impressive. Though unlike the other groups, it had less graphics, but the way the "news casters" spoke was very easy to understand. Good enunciation, eyecontact, loudness, and the words chosen were all very relevent. And also the fact that the 9/11 still has an impact on the economy was very surprising. I didn't expect it to have such a great impact that not all companies were guaranteed to be able to come back.

I really liked how they presented this video with a news caster style, it was easy to understand. I thought that the backgrounds used by mai and lily were really awsome. I think that it would have been nicer if they used clips or images directly connected with the 9/11 event.

The incident on September 11 also known as 9/11 was something very familiar to me. I actually remember the day that this event happened and had somewhat a clear idea of the chaos and sadness created from this event.
This video was very nice with the news caster style. It looked really realistic and the CNN background was really cool.The sound quality was easy to hear. Like saya also mentioned I think it would have been better if their were images on 9/11.
One of the things that I learned from the video were the causes that led to the 9/11.The effect the 9/11 event created was really surprising.It was really shocking how many victims were killed simply because of their skin color. I liked how you interviewed people, which gave us different perspectives on 9/11.
First I must say, I hope from the bottom of my heart that CNN does not sue you for this.
ReplyDeleteBut apart from that, the aftermath of 9/11 as presented in this video,is a event fairly recent and colossal occurrence. That is why it is personally amazing how the aftermath of this unfortunate event still has a outstandingly visible influence on the US.
Indeed, the fragile balance between freedom and security in the US has evidently become more and more a concerned issue, recently redeeming its indisputable significance as well as the inevitable fact that this question will redundantly resurface to the discussion table until openly confronted with as a society as well as government in the recent controversial immigration law passed in Arizona.
Although not required, It would have been the icing on the cake for me if this group mentioned more about the controversial aspects of 9/11. Personally, that was and still is the leading factor for discussion about 9/11.

ReplyDeleteAll group members did a very good job in speaking clearly. The tempo of the whole video was very good and made it easy to understand. Having scenes in which they interviewed people made me think about 9/11 from different perspectives, and made me think about the 9/11 incident once more. I think it would have been better to use graphics and photos. Otherwise, it was a very good video.

I think the background looks very professional with the CNN news image. I thought it was very unique and entertaing. It is very easy to understand with what happened during September 11. I have mor einformation now. Good Job.

ReplyDeleteI really liked the way they presented as a news cast. The background was really reaslistic and the voice was slow and clear so it was easy to hear. Though 9/11 was a familiar event and I knew quite a bit about it, it was interesting to hear the effects which 9/11 caused to the economy and the politics. It gave me a better understanding about this event.

ReplyDeleteI liked how you incorporated (by probably using a green background) images of downtown New York and the CNN backdrop to make the video look more professional.
Information wise, I thought it was very thorough and well explained. Audio was clear and I was able to hear what you guys said. I like Lily’s remark about how the conflict between civil liberties and national security is still alive today. There is a book called “Little Brother” which is adresses this issue and I thought that you explained it very well.
I liked how you also incorporated interviews of ‘local people’ and also an ‘expert’s’ point of view. It was all very interesting to watch at the same time of being easy to understand, which is, I believe, the best combination if you want to be truly informative.
I really liked how you used the green back and made it as a CNN news and a reporter standing in the crowd in New York. I also liked how 'Lily Johnson' interviewing the local people and also the political analyst, 'Angela Smith'. The information about September 11 was well explained and easy to understand. All the members of the group participated or were in the video for about same amount of time. Also the audio was clear, but it may have been better if you used some kind of photos that are related to September 11. Otherwise, I enjoyed watching the CNN news.

Everyone knows about 9/11, but not everybody knows about it in depth. I think this presentation was in depth, and it was more than the basic things that everybody knows about 9/11.

The computer editing was great. Clothing, Backgrounds, and the Speeches were well rehearsed, and showed the perfection of this video. The subtitles, voice qualities, and the interview in this video was easy to understand.
I really loved this video. This video had lots of informations, and also, it was VERY VERY interesting to watch. I liked how you guys made this video as a "news," and the back ground was really cool. The best part that I liked was when Lily Johnson interviewed Mai and Angela. I thought it was really original idea.

Wow, it really looked like a news or T.V. show! i really liked how you guys had nice flow of the presentation and each person forcused on talking one topic, and described by interviewing people. And I also liked how you concluded the political analysis.

I think that your information was good and your presentation went really smooth. You guy can really act, it looked like a real news on TV. It was really cool of how you put videos in your background to make it more realistic.

Another professionally done video. Being familiar with this event and most of the history surrounding, it was more watching for a confirmation of facts rather than new information. I did glean how the economy fluctuated after 9/11, so plus marks in that regard. Very well done overall.

I also liked how watching this video was like watching real news including the backgrounds prepared for each scene. I also loved how the video and information was very organized and had nice transition.
ReplyDeleteSince this video's format is news, correspondent and interviews, obviously it contains so much information everywhere. As Lily said in the video as a correspondent, it is really important for us to remember what effects terrorism has had in our soiciety, and the video gives us information why we should remember it and how the terrorism effected in our society. 9/11 was defenitely one of the modern tragedy that should not occer anymore.

ReplyDeleteThis video was really 'News'. Compare to other videos, the process of video was really serious, like a real News. The computer editing was well done, costume, and props. And especially three people's voice in this video, was really clear.

The interviews and answers helped it to make it easier to understand what they are talking about. It was not just questions and answers, it was like a really news and the answers were clear and understandable.

I clearly heard everyones voice and it was really interesting how this group incorporated news like style. But i thought this video was somewhat boring from lacking of scenes and pictures.

ReplyDeleteThe idea of using CNN was funny but is it okay uploading it to youtube?? Anyways the idea of making the video like a news was good and was well done. Also, in this video, I think they actually used the green screen so I think that was awesome.
An amazing job done with the green background, wow! Despite the fact that I clearly remember this day, I was only 9 at the time, and I only remember being shocked and scared, watching the same images from the terrorist attacks on the news. Therefore the information presented was a new insight on the drastic event, especially about the economically issues and the affects on the market.

Impressive, it looks very professional and it was very informative, you could have added more pictures, clips, etc. but it was still good. I am very familiar with 9/11, but watching this made me realize that I knew so little, I learned a lot, for example: I never really thought about the effects on the market, so this was an eye opener for me. I loved the interviews, how it is based on not only common people, but also on experts. NICE JOB!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the green screen and CNN background pictures. The whole presentation was very professional and it looked like a real news report. The way the information was conveyed was unique and well thought out. The news reporters and the anchorman all spoke clearly and loudly and I could hear every single word they spoke. The way the presentation was organized with Mai talking about the political aspects, Lily being an anchorwoman describing the social aspects, and Angela being a political analyst was so neat. The info about homeland security was interesting; Didn't know it was made in 1994. overall really nice movie with great acting and information about 9/11!

The video looked like a news show and made it feel real when I watched it. I knew the main reason why terrorists attack World Trade Center, but I found out more details of the attack.
ReplyDeleteThis video gave me a better understanding of events that I was already aware of. I also liked how you were able to utilize the green screen effect, something which I wanted to do =P...It was also nice how you divided the topics and let each member concentrate on a specific aspect of the attack. I felt that it allowed you guys (or girls, if you prefer) to be better "teachers" of that particular subject.

I think you answered the questions that were put forth very clearly and concisely by making sure that all aspects of the question were fully covered. It was great how Mai appeared both as a news caster and as a person being interviewed. By including an interview, I think you were able to make your TV show more realistic and interesting to watch.

The format of the presentation, the way you conveyed the information through a "news" was very easy to understand and at the same time very interesting. As for the information itself, the details were very well shown and like Shion said,we were very young when 9/11 occurred so this video covered all the informative parts of the event. Nicely done!
