It was very very entertaining, and at the same time, very educational. The use of both labeled people and text made it so much easier to understand, and I learned a lot from watching this video. Though I knew a bit about the insurance info, watching this clarified my questions.

I really loved watching this video since the group members acted out the information they had on Obama. I liked the way they explained about the health care bill that Obama had made. By acting this out it was much easier for me to understand what was exactly happening. The text in the video also helped since I could read and listen at the same time! I thought that some of the text though, such as the one talking about the Iraq war could be a little shorter stating only the important facts and the detailed parts could be explained by talking. This way I think the video for that part would look more simple and better.
I really liked how this group, like Yuna also mentioned, made this video fun and at the same time educational. I liked how you put jokes such as the one about the stock market crash, which made we want to continue seeing this video. I also liked how the video compared and showed us the change that is going to be made (or is made) after Bush`s 8 years of presidency, which is the shut down of Guantanamo De tention Camp. From this video I learned many things and one of the things that I was surprised about was the one talking about Barney`s song. I didnt know that this was used to torture the people. From this video I was able to learn and also understand more about Obama and his presidency.

ReplyDeleteI really like this video. It is fun, and is easy to understand. Having scenes in which the group members act, and having text slides every now and then made the information clear. Making sure that the audience understands the concepts and facts is the most important thing, and I think this group succeeded in this.

ReplyDeleteYes, I think this video is really entertaining. It is very educational because i understands a lot with what Obama does during his presidency. Good Job Saya, Jonah, and Curtis.
I really enjoyed this video. The texts in the video made it easier to understand the information. Also acting out about the insurance company and the three automobile company and talking about it at the same time was a good idea. It made it easier to understand the information too. Though i didn't think writing whole bunch of words in the presentation about the kyoto protocol,iraq war, and the stock market crash was a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching this video. I liked how there were telop, it was easy for me to understand what they were talking about. I also liked the short skits about the insurance company and how they related or joined the skits and the scene with only their voices.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the editing was not smooth enough, because there were some parts where Saya's voice was just cut out. I think they should not have written a lot in the presentation, because the viewer might get easily bored with it.

ReplyDeleteYour video was really well-made in that it was simply PACKED full with clear and concise information. Not only did you take videos of yourselves, but also recorded your voices! Now that, I thought, was awesome! Just the fact that I couldn’t see the right side of your video was disappointing. I would have liked to see Curtis in front of the camera more often.
HOWEVER, what made this video very noteworthy was the many scenes that were incorporated (thanks to Addy and Kazuya) that demonstrated Obama’s responses to issues such as health insurance. All were very fun to watch and exceedingly easy to understand. In addition, there was a lot of humor and I enjoyed seeing how you guys tried to divert our attentions away from the notepaper hidden under the table. Hehehe.
But really. Great job. You guys must have spent a lot of time planning this video out. The organization skills you had as a group was amazing on the video!!

ReplyDeleteAn important element in an educational film is humor because it is very easy for this kind of topic to become boring. I think this group succeeded in keeping the audience's attention through a well-organized format, with plenty of information as well.
One thing that could have been improved, however, is the sound quality. I understand that technology was probably the issue, but there were parts of the video when I could not make out what was being said.
The video covered everything from the recent recession to the eventual pull-out of troops from Iraq. More emphasis could have been placed on the social trends in the present day, but other than that it was an effective tool for helping people glean information on Obama and his plans. The auto company bailout and healthcare sections were very well done.

This video was very amusing, easy to understand, and informative. The video covered all the areas and gave some specific examples that helped understanding such as the case of the insurance reform. I loved the video's humorous and simple episodes acted by every team members, Addy, and Kazuya. Although Curtis didn't seem to appear as much as Jonah and Saya. As many have already mentioned, the texts and the sign in the video really helped since I could get the information from both the audio and visual. Overall it was a great video with full of informations that really gave me a clear idea of Obama's presidency and his policies.
ReplyDeleteThe video was to the point and very easy to understand and attain information. I really liked how in between the acting there were powerpoint-like slides that explained the topic in depth. Though there could've been more use of costumes and props but the acts themselves were well thought out.

The video was very entertaining, and easy to understand. I could hear the information very clearly and loud. Usually when I see the educational video, I get bored and wouldn't be listening to the information. This video was very enjoyable and I could keep paying attention on this video.

This clarified the my obscure understanding of insurance and the current situation in Iraq by plenty of information.

This video, I thought was very well made. It gave me the clear view of what kind of change President Obama's vision or change he made such as health care reform, removal of military, Kyoto Protocal, etc. Also the texts helped me to understad the topic better with more detailed information. You guys nailed it very well!
The video is very humorous. The group included a lot of interesting facts about Obama. Since he is the current president, I think it would be really helpful to learn about him. The group had specific examples such as the Kyoto Protocol, and it was good. Great job! I was entertained and I learned a lot from the presentation.

Your video was filled with humor from the very start, which quickly caught my attention. Throughout the video, the transitions between the skits, the information and the 'for-example' skits were smoothly done and worked really well together. The information about the Guantanamo Bay detention camp was quite shocking. Overall I thought this was cleverly put together and very entertaining!

Every play is very enjoyable, and especially what really helped me was the information I got clear from Obama's deed in new health care form and his current works.The recorded voice was clear which helped me a lot to concentrate on, and I think it's amazing how all those plays, casual conversations, and pictures flow.

And because this group did lots of acting for each's (political, social, economical) most important information, it was easy to understand the main point, and humorous at the same time. I could see they used lots of props and all, which means they put lots of effort on this project.

The lovely acting made it very easy to understand the situation and what was being taught from it, as well as the labels on the characters. All of the necessary points were covered in this assignment from the beginning to the current status of president Obama's presidency. The quality, acting and presentation was all very good though the text at the end was a bit fast, otherwise great job.
I liked this video. I liked how they had conversation with each other about each topics (questions), and that made me understand it easier. And I also liked the text while they were having conversation, the text was up there and that was more understandable for me. I think I learned a lot of stuff by watching this video; about Obama, and the techniques of making a good video. =)

I enjoyed this video very much, it was easy to understand and it was humorous; a great educational video. It was nice to learn about the current US president and to see his visions. The short skits were great because it acted as examples or explanations to the topics, which made it easier to understand. The subtitles made the presentation easy to follow and helped me keep track of the important facts. Each section of the presentation was clearly divided, and made the video very organized and neat. The acting made the facts memorable and very fun to watch. I especially liked the earthquake scene! I like how you related the stock market crash to the crash of Saya’s belonging in the earthquake. The audio was very clear and the images were also interesting and relevant. The torture songs used in Guantanamo Detention Camp was a shock for me as many were songs from children’s TV shows.

The idea of acting out the security bill is a really great idea because it gave the audience a better understanding of the system of the bill and how is it changed by President Obama. The subtitle is very helpful in terms of information deliberation. Also the idea of putting the information in bullet point together with the explanation is a really smart idea. The bullet points provided a nice complete information that the audience can read while following the narratorʻs lecture.
ReplyDeleteThe technology part of this video seems to be fairly good, however, the scene change of each section seems a little rough. It will be better if the transition of this video is smoother and flow more naturally.
Your video makes Obama's policies very clear and understandable. Often I get scared with "big words" used in politics, but thanks to you, I was able to understand these complex terms. Also, your video was edited very well, and I had no trouble hearing what you said. Good job.

ReplyDeleteThe humor in your presentation kept me watching this video with great interest until the very end. The flow is never disturbed, and the examples are very accurate and convincing. Although the sound is sometimes hard to hear, everything else is a.ma.zing.
The presence of telop helped me a lot in following the video. The short skits about the insurance company showed the policy of Obama and his challenge in improving the health care system in USA.
